The same rules for the main message board apply here. In addition to that, here are a few basic courtesies expected on the battle board.

1) New combatants may not enter a match once it has begun.

2) Do not predict your opponent's reaction to your attack. Always leave your opponent room to counter. It's up to them to decide whether or not they can get out of it given their combatant's abilities.

3) If you do not understand how to battle, read through an existing match to get a feel for how the format works. Asking questions is okay.

Additional conditions may be decided upon for individual matches by the players involved.
