"BYRON!" thundered the God of Destiny. His voice resonating throughout the void of space in which he resides.
"Yes master?" Byron asked fearfully as he appeared in a blue light. It was not often The God of Destiny got mad. He started to worry.
"THERE IS A BREAK IN DESTINY," the god answered.
"You mean those mysterious quakes on Lunar?" Byron asked, half confused.
"YES. THE QUAKES."
"Whatever the matter is I'll neutralize it!" Byron said as he unsheathed his sword. "Destiny is not meant to be tampered with!"
"THERE SHALL BE NONE OF THAT BYRON!"
"But, but Master.." Byron started to stutter before he was interrupted.
"SILENCE! THE BREAK MUST BE FIXED BUT NOT BY THOSE MEANS."
Byron put away his sword and asked, "Then what should we do?"
"BYRON, LISTEN TO ME. MANY THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO, LUNAR WAS A DESOLATE PLACE. IT HAD ABSOLUTELY NO LIGHT ON THE SURFACE, IT DIDN'T EXIST THERE. THIS DARKNESS WAS KNOWN AS TERRANOX. TERRANOX CANNOT TAKE FORM, FOR HE IS NOTHING BUT OMNIPOTENT DARKNESS. ALTHENA COULDN'T SIMPLY "DESTROY" TERRANOX, BECAUSE OF THAT REASON. SO INSTEAD, ALTHENA CREATED A NEW SURFACE WITH HER LIGHT, AND SMOTHERED TERRANOX. THE SURFACE SHE CREATED WAS KNOWN AS LUNAR, AND DARKNESS BELOW, WAS THE DARK EARTH. A REALM OF PURE DARKNESS, WHERE LIGHT DOES NOT EVEN EXIST. THE CHASMS APPEARING ON LUNAR, ARE TERRANOX BREAKING FREE. HE WANTS TO DESTROY LUNAR PIECE BY PIECE, LEAVING ONLY THE DARK EARTH."
"I get it now!" exclaimed Byron. "We can't destroy Terranox because he is not an evil god, but Lunar's dark half!"
"EXACTLY. AND THE HUMANS CAN'T DESTROY HIM EITHER BECAUSE, WITHOUT DARKNESS, THE BALANCE OF POWER ON LUNAR WILL BE TILTED AND LIFE WILL CEASE TO EXIST".
"Then, what can we do to stop him?" Byron asked.
"THE HUMANS MUST STOP HIM, FOR WE CANNOT HARM HIM DIRECTLY."
"But you just said the humans couldn't defeat him." Byron said more confused than ever.
"THE HUMANS CANNOT DESTROY HIM, BUT THEY CAN STOP HIM. BYRON, YOU MUST GO DOWN TO LUNAR, AND TELL THE HUMANS ABOUT TERRANOX. TELL THEM ONLY ABOUT WHAT HE IS, AND THE CONSEQUENCES. DO NOT TELL THEM ABOUT HOW HE WAS CREATED, FOR THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO KNOW YET. IS THAT CLEAR?"
"Yes master," Byron said as he bowed his head. "But, who am I supposed to tell.?"
"ALTHENA IS NO MORE, AND ALL DRAGONS EXCEPT ONE ARE GONE TOO. YOU MUST TELL THE LAST DRAGON NALL, AND HE IN TURN WILL TELL ALEX. NOT ONLY LUNAR, BUT DESTINY HANGS IN THE BALANCE."
"I understand completely, Master." Byron said as he turned around and got ready to leave.
"OH, AND ONE MORE THING."
"Yes Master."
"MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT TELL THEM ABOUT ME. IF THEY ASK WHO SENT YOU, JUST SAY THAT IT ISN'T IMPORTANT."
"It shall be done." Byron bowed his head, and disappeared in a mysterious glow.
"YES BYRON, IT WILL BE DONE. TERRANOX WAS NEVER SUPPOSED TO BREAK FREE. I WONDER HOW HE'S DOING IT. PROBABLY WITH THE HELP OF A HUMAN. HUMANS CAN BE SO EVIL, AND SO GOOD AT THE SAME TIME. I JUST HOPE THEIR SENSE OF GOOD CAN OVERCOME THIS OBSTACLE. I CAN NO LONGER TELL WHAT WILL HAPPEN, FOR DESTINY HAS A BREAK IN IT. I AM NO LONGER OF USE TO HELP THEM ANYMORE. ALL I CAN DO IS WATCH. GOOD LUCK PEOPLE OF LUNAR, YOU'LL NEED IT."
