Hiro watched as Alex, Luna, Nall, and Ramus headed out of Quark's lair. He then turned and looked at Quark.
"Tell me a bit about Lucia boy," said Quark.
"Lucia is the sweetest person I know," said Hiro, "I would do anything for her."
"You're not from this time are you?" said Quark.
"No," replied Hiro, "I'm not. I'm actually from one thousand years in the future."
"How did you get here then?" asked Quark.
Hiro shook his head. "I have no idea," he answered.
"Well I suppose you would like to go back to your own time," said Quark, "so maybe the goddess Althena can help you."
"Yeah," said Hiro, "maybe she can. Well I guess I'll leave you now." Saying that Hiro turned and rejoined Alex, Luna, and Ramus. They made their way back to Burg.
"Just think of the money we'll get for this," exclaimed Ramus. He dragged them around the two shops in town trying to sell it, only to be told he should try Meribia.
"Well," said Ramus, "I guess we're going to Meribia tomorrow." He then headed to his house.
"Well we should head home too," said Alex. The three of them headed to Alex's home just in time to sit down for supper. Afterwards Alex and Luna headed for the Burg Springs to have some time alone while Hiro walked to Dyne's Memorial. He sat down in front of it and looked up at the Blue Star. "I wonder how Lucia is handling my disappearance?" he wondered.
Lucia stood up after awhile. She walked out of Hiro's room and headed to the crystal room that linked the Blue Star to Lunar. She entered the crystal and was warped instantly to the Blue Spire on Lunar. Lucia then warped to Raculi where Ronfar and Mauri lived.
"Get back here you little imp," she heard Ronfar yelling at someone inside the house. The door then opened and Lucia was nearly run over by a five year old girl.
Ronfar grabbed her and lifted her up to him. He then noticed Lucia. "Well," he said, "this is a surprise. What brings you here?"
"Something terrible has happened recently," she answered, "may I come in?"
Ronfar nodded and stepped aside to let her enter.
A pregnant Mauri approached Lucia as she entered. "Lucia," she said as she hugged her, "what brings you here?"
"It concerns Hiro," she answered.
"Yeah," said Ronfar, "where is he by the way. I thought you two would be inseparable?"
Lucia bowed her head and began to cry again. "I don't know where Hiro is," she said sadly. "All I know is that Zophar appeared to me in a dream saying he had cast a spell on Hiro that would send him somewhere back in time."
Ronfar walked around the table and put his hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry," he said, "we'll get him back somehow."
Just then the four of them heard a loud noise from outside.
"Anyone home?" said a deep voice from outside a minute later.
"In here Leo," answered Ronfar.
Mauri's brother Leo strolled into the house. "Lucia," he said suprised, "why are you here?" He then looked around the house. "And where's Hiro?"
"Uncle Leo," exclaimed Ronfar and Mauri's daughter as she ran up to him.
He reached down and picked her up. Then he looked back at Ronfar, Mauri and Lucia. "Is anyone going to tell me why Hiro isn't here?" he asked again.
Ronfar walked up to his childhood friend. "We don't know where Hiro is," he said, "all we know is that Zophar sent him somewhere back in time."
Leo growled softly. "That monster!" he hissed. He then looked at Lucia. "Don't worry," he said, "I bet Nall knows where he is. I'll take you to see him tomorrow."
"Great," said Ronfar, "I think I'll tag along with you."
