Part 7

Ghaleon walked through his mansion heading towards the room where all the singing girls and that boy Hiro that Xenobia was so fond of were being held.

Xenobia stood outside the door with five of her Vile Tribe soldiers waiting for him.

"Well?" said Ghaleon as he walked up to them, "shall we get this over with?"

Xenobia nodded and unlocked the door. She then stepped aside to let Ghaleon enter first.

He walked up to the sleeping forms of Hiro and Luna. "Wake up you two!" he said.

Luna awoke and gasped at the sight of Ghaleon standing over them. She then crawled behind Hiro who was just waking up himself.

Hiro looked up at Ghaleon. "If you want Luna, you'll have to get past me first!" he said.

Ghaleon smiled. "Very well," he said, "Xenobia unlock the boy's chains."

Xenobia looked at Ghaleon, then started reciting some words.

The chains binding Hiro began to glow then unlocked themselves and fell to the floor.

Ghaleon then grabbed hold of Hiro's shirt and tossed him over his shoulder.

The girls watched in horror as Hiro hit the wall with a sickening thud, then slowly slid to the floor unconscious.

"I guess that will teach him to mess with me," Ghaleon said.

"Hiro!" cried Luna. She started to run over to him but was grabbed by Xenobia. "Let go of me you witch!" Luna yelled at her.

Xenobia frowned at her and raised her hand in an attempt to slap Luna.

Ghaleon seeing that grabbed her hand. "That's no way to treat the goddess Althena," he said to her.

Luna stared at Ghaleon. "There must be some mistake," she said. "I'm not the goddess Althena."

"Oh but you are," replied Ghaleon, "and I plan to use you to take over Lunar." He turned to Xenobia. "Take her and the boy Hiro back to my personal room and wait for me there. I have something to take care of first."

Xenobia nodded and ordered her soldiers to take Luna and Hiro to Ghaleon's room.

Ghaleon meanwhile warped himself straight to the black dragon's lair where he proceeded to take over it's soul. Once he had done that he heard voices coming towards his location. He quickly hid behind a pillar and watched as Alex and his friends fought against the dragon.

Nall looked around the room searching for Ghaleon's hiding place.

Ghaleon watched him the whole time. "I wonder why I feel as though I've met that boy already?" he thought to himself. He shook off the deju vu feeling in time to see the end of the fight. Ghaleon smiled and then began clapping.

"Very impressive, Alex," he said. "You've just killed the only remaining means of becoming a Dragonmaster. You're making this way too easy. Now the goddess is completely unprotected. She's mine to control! The world is my oyster!" He then ran off laughing.
