Alex and his friends warped out of the black dragon's cave using the white dragon wings.
"I can't believe Ghaleon was in the cave with us the whole time!" Kyle ranted.
"Believe it," said Nall.
Mia looked at him. "Just who are you anyway?" she asked. "We know who your friends are, but you never told us your name. And yet you act like you've known us for a long time."
Alex and the two Nalls looked at each other and started laughing.
"What's so funny Alex?" Nash asked him.
"I guess it's about time you showed them what you really look like Nall," Ronfar said to him.
Kyle, Jessica, Nash, and Mia stood there stunned.
"Wait a minute," said Jessica, "did you just call him Nall?"
"I sure did," replied Ronfar.
Nall walked away from the group. He turned around and looked at them. He was then enveloped in a bright light. When the light disappeared there was a white dragon in his place.
Nall who had been sitting on Alex's shoulder the whole time flew up to the huge white dragon and landed on its head. "Say hello to my future self," he said.
"You're kidding right?" said Mia.
The white dragon shook his head. "No Mia," he said, "I really did come from the future. So did Hiro and my friends."
"But how?" asked Nash.
"We were sent here by Lucia, the goddess Althena's sister," said Ruby, "but Nall's not the only dragon from the future. I happen to be the red dragon."
"And just who is the goddess Althena?" asked Kyle.
Ruby looked at Nall. "Should we tell them who she is?" she asked him.
"I guess it wouldn't hurt," replied Nall.
Ruby looked at the eight of them. "Luna is the goddess Althena," she said.
"What!" said Nash. "Luna's the goddess Althena!"
Alex slowly fell to his knees. "I can't believe I'm in love with the goddess Althena," he said
Nall morphed back into his human form. "The first thing we should do," he said, "is track Ghaleon and the Grindery down."
Everyone agreed by nodding their heads.
"But where do we start looking?" asked Jean.
"At the Talon Mines," said Nall.
Alex held up the dragon wings. "Dragon wings," he shouted, "take us to Talon."
They all vanished and reappeared in Talon. They then saw the Grindery coming over the mountains.
Ghaleon stood on a tower at the top of his castle with the brainwashed Hiro and Luna.He turned to Luna. "Now goddess Althena!" he commanded her, "heed my commands. Turn your pure light to blazing fire and decimate all who oppose me!"
Luna began casting a spell. As she spoke the words to it, she began to glow. When she finished chanting a huge ball of light shot from her hands. It flew across the sky, hitting the city of Vane which was in its path.
"No!" cried Mia. She fell to her knees and started crying.
Jessica ran to comfort her childhood friend.
"I never thought I'd see this in person!" said a shocked Lemina.
Alex turned to his friends. "Let's go teach Ghaleon a lesson!" he yelled.
Kyle, Mia, Nash, and Jessica nodded their heads and followed him towards the Grindery.
"No!" shouted Nall, "there's a force field surrounding it!"
But none of them heard his warning. They hit it and were thrown several feet back. Alex, who flew the farthest, hit his head on a large rock.
Jean, Lemina, Leo, Ruby, Nall, and Ronfar ran to the injured group.
Ghaleon, having watched this, turned to Hiro. "I want you to go and kill the boy Alex," he ordered him. "Fail me and I will personally track you down and kill you. Understand?"
Hiro nodded and Ghaleon transported him out of the Grindery.
"We have to get them as far away from here as soon as possible," said Leo.
Ruby and Nall looked up from the unconscious body of Nash. She then spotted Hiro standing a few feet away.
"Hiro!" she happily cried. Ruby jumped up and started running towards him.
"Wait Ruby!" Nall yelled. "Something seems odd about him. I think Ghaleon's taken control of his mind!"
Hiro raised his sword and ran towards Alex.
"Someone stop him!" yelled Jean. "I think he's going to kill Alex!"
Leo jumped up and blocked his sword just as it was almost touching Alex.
Ronfar then cast a rest litany spell on him.
Hiro fell into the waiting arms of Leo.
"Is everyone ready to go?"Nall asked.
They all nodded.
He held up the wings and yelled out. "Reza!"
Immediately they were transported to Reza.
"Let's get Hiro and Alex to the pub," said Leo.
Ronfar and Leo carried Alex and Hiro to the pub and up to the second floor. They laid the two of them on the beds in the room.
Ronfar then cast a mental litany spell on Hiro. "Let's hope this works against the power Ghaleon has over him," he said.
Nall walked up to Ronfar. "To be on the safe side," he said, "we should strap him down."
"No!" cried Ruby. She ran up to him and flung herself on Hiro.
Leo laid a hand on her shoulder. "I know how you feel about him,but for Alex's survival we should, just in case Ghaleon's hold on him is too strong."
Ruby looked at Leo. "You're right," she said standing up, "Alex's suvival is important."
Leo, Ronfar, and Nall tied Hiro down.
"So what do we do with the rest of them?"asked Jean.
