Wine, Women, and Song

Music blared through the Larpa bar. People all around the bar danced, talked, gambled, yelled, fought, and just had all around fun until the bouncer dragged them out. A priest, full in his robes of Althena's Chosen, sat at a back table drinking about as much wine as he could hold.

The woman he talked to seemed flattered by tales of his "past." She had bright blonde hair and crystal-blue eyes. She was rather busty and curved at the hip: Just the way the priest liked.

"So there I was," he said, "confronted by four evil sorcerors: califs of the Cult of Zophar! Seeing that I was one of Althena's Chosen, they moved in. One of the califs brought forth his mighty flail, which had spiked skulls on the end of each chain, and tried his best to attack!" The woman gasped. "But then I grabbed him by the arm and threw him into one of the califs behind me.

"So then the rest of the five-"

"I thought you said there were four?" the woman interrupted.

"Ah, ha, ha! That's what I meant, of course!" the priest said defensively. "So the other three (the fourth one on the ground) came at me. I took the flail of that first one and, by Althena! I killed all three califs in one swing of the flail! Then I moved in and smashed in the head of the one on the ground. Hah! Four less chances of Zophar being revived, neh?"

"That's amazing!" the woman said.

The priest grabbed the woman's hip. "D'you want to see something even more amazing?"

"Hmmm, I wouldn't mind."

The priest began slowly moving his hand up the woman's side. "There's a... bed in my room that needs a little... shaking up, if you know what I mean."

The woman giggled as she moved his hand up to her breast. "But I thought priests weren't allowed to do that..."

"Everyone's a sinner."

The door swung open. The priest's hand flew from the woman's bust to his own pocket as he saw the leader of Althena's Guard enter the bar. He hid under his robes.

The White Knight walked to the bartender. "Good day, barkeep! I have caught word that a priest by the name of Ronfar resides in this city. Have you seen him?"

"Only one priest of Althena comes to this bar, my lord," the barkeep said, pointing to the priest.

The leader of Althena's Guard marched to the priest's table. He lifted the priest's hood. "Ronfar? Well I'll be damned."

Ronfar slammed and locked his door as the White Knight entered. "God dammit, Leo! Don't you realize that you always barge in when I'm happy enough to act on a-" he coughed. "Nevermind."

Leo put his hand on Ronfar's shoulder. He sighed. "Ronfar, I'm not here to talk. I've gotten urgent orders from Althena, and I need to know if a good friend would like to help fulfill them."

"Urgent orders?"

"Let me explain..."
