Mistress of the Winds

"Visions D'Alkirk." states Hiro. "Her face seems SO familiar. And she took my sword claiming that it was her father's."

"D'Alkirk?!" shouts Nall. "That name belonged to... Jessica. But that was over 1000 years ago. How can..."

"You carried Ghaleon's sword, did you not?" states Gwyn. "Then does this mean that she is..."

"Ghaleon's... daughter?" stutters Ruby. "I didn't think that he had any children."

"Nor did I," answers Nall. "How can she be Ghaleon's child, and carry Jessica's name? This is very odd."

"Be that as it may," quotes Hiro. "She's just as powerful as Ghaleon. Maybe stronger."

"What was her power?" asks Nall. "Fire, Ice, Earth, Thunder, Shadow?"

"Wind," answers Hiro. "Total control over it. Unlike anything that I've seen before."

"That's understandable." answers Gwyn. "Ghaleon had total control over lightning, which compliments wind."

"What makes you think that she would come here?" asks Ruby.

"She claimed to be from a place called Southerland, so I came here to research and find out if there was such a place. I also managed to injure her, and she must've come here to heal herself."

"Southerland?" asks Nall. "I think that Quark told me about such a place so long ago. I'll head back to my cave and look up any records of the place."

With that, Nall disappeared.

"What does she want with Lucia?" asks Ruby. "Is she a Bi or something?"

"She claimed that Althena was back, and was retrieving Lucia for her," answers Hiro.

"I thought that the goddess exists no more," states Gwyn. "The more I find out, the more confused I become."

Ruby agrees as she looks through Gwyn's numerous books for any information pertaining to Southerland.

"I've no time to join your pitiful little guild," growls Visions. "I won't allow the descendant of Mia Ausa to mock me as Remilia did my father!"

Hurt and insulted, Lemina eyes Ghaleon's memorial behind Visions and covers her mouth in shock.

"Yeah, that's right," sneers Visions. "He's my dad. And after I accomplish my mission, we'll meet again."

Visions turns around and attempts to walk off, but Lemina confronts her face to face.

"Your father hurt a lot of innocent people in his time. Although he has redeemed himself, I will NOT allow his little mega-mangy little brat to harm this land either! Prepare to eat it!"

Lemina casts her Nitro Dagger spell on Visions, but it had no effect. She then casts Flame Pillar but Visions disappears into a gust of wind and appears behind Lemina, grabbing her by the face with one hand. She lifts Lemina off of the ground and shouts "Wa kadeyo nitz!!", enclosing Lemina into a vicious tornado, nearly separating her head from her body.

Visions then tosses Lemina aside, her body barely alive.

"Lemina!!" shouts Ramus, running to her side. "You rotten bit..."

"Watch your tongue son. Just be glad that she's still alive," laughs Visions. "Next time I won't be so merciful."

Ramus watches as Visions disappears into a gust of wind. He takes Lemina's battered body back to the mansion of Vane, and informs Miria as to what had happened.

"Dear me, Ghaleon's daughter," sighs Miria. "I had hoped for a peaceful settlement to any potential children of Ghaleon, but Visions seems to be as full of anger and hatred as Ghaleon once was."

"What should we do?" asks Ramus. "There's no way we can defeat her alone."

"I'll seek help from her friends Jean and Ronfar," answers Miria. "They helped her defeat Zophar, and I hope that they can help now. The child of Ghaleon is not going to be an easy win."

Ramus stays behind with Lemina while Miria gathers a couple of supplies and sets off to find Ronfar and Jean. Meanwhile Visions takes off with Lucia for Southerland.
